2 Year Anniversary

Ada & Kalu waiting for the party to begin.

Here is a picture of the teachers, staff and the boys in their new shirts. And I am there in my purple dress! The bright fabric we are wearing is called Katanga fabric is native to our area of Africa and as you see, is a feast for your eyes....like a rainbow. The guys were so happy to have them. Plus they finally received new school bags and so have been able to trade in the plastic grocery bags they had been using to carry their school books & supplies. ~ Teresa

Last week the boys celebrated their 2 Year Anniversary of living in the house they currently rent in Lubumbashi. Prior to the them living in the house they were getting fed daily snacks and still sleeping on the streets. The past years they have grown spiritually, physically and academically. They are doing great. When they moved in there were 12 boys, now there are 25! Many of the 25 are some of the first 12. It has been so cool to hear what our Awesome Heavenly Father is doing for these boys. ~Cassidy
